BIBLICAL EDUCATION SERVICES TRUST
The school is governed by its own trust board known as the Biblical Education Services Trust.
MEMBERSHIP
The constitution requires the Board to comprise of no less than seven members and no more than eleven. New members are appointed to the Board by the Board itself.
Present members are:
Mr Adam Berry (Chairman), Mr Gary Shuttleworth (Deputy Chairperson & Treasurer), Mr Rodd Jacques (Secretary), Mrs Monique Douglas, Mr Peter Turner, Mr Bart Nuysink, Mrs Marguerite Masters and Mr Geoff Matthews (Principal).
BOARD FUNCTIONS
Functions of the Board are to:
1. Manage the affairs of the school but delegate the responsibility of the daily running of the school to the school Principal.
2. Manage and oversee the financial affairs of the school.
3. Approve appointments and resignations of staff.
4. Ensure that the school complies with the requirements of any governmental body unless the requirement contravenes the Word of God.
Parents interested in becoming Board members would need to attend a 4-session course run each year covering topics such as: Biblical Priorities for Education, Leadership and Servanthood, the Role, Responsibilities and Commitment of School Council Members.
